The course is very practical. Hightlighting the important point of the course. It talks about effective communication being important to assertiveness. Also talk about SMART goal setting being important to having self confidence and building assertiveness. It talks about the four styles of communication. Passive, aggressive, passive-aggressive and assertive communication. What we are trying to achieve is assertive communication where one asserts one’s right without jepodising other people’s right. It also talks about obstacles to our goals. Which are a list of negative thinking patterns that we always engage in. It then talks about the importance of active listening and empathetic listening. And how to do it which is very practical.

The course is very practical. Hightlighting the important point of the course. It talks about effective communication being important to assertiveness. Also talk about SMART goal setting being important to having self confidence and building assertiveness. It talks about the four styles of communication. Passive, aggressive, passive-aggressive and assertive communication. What we are trying to achieve is assertive communication where one asserts one’s right without jepodising other people’s right. It also talks about obstacles to our goals. Which are a list of negative thinking patterns that we always engage in. It then talks about the importance of active listening and empathetic listening. And how to do it which is very practical.
